i think i have everything important backed up to my D: drive. so i'm about to reformat my C:. if all goes well, i'll be happy and back up and running smoothly very soon. if all doesn't go well, it's going to be sad sad sad and i might never recover.

It NEVER goes well for me. I always forget to save something, or I manage to warp my computer so badly it takes me days to get it normal again.
